Funded over $10K

Funded over $10K

In the year 2022-2023, Financial Affairs exceeded its goal of funding $10,000 to SAO organizations!

  • BU International Affairs Association

The funding helped organize the Global Village, BUIAA Gala, host two model UN conferences, publish two editions of the IRR, host SDG advocacy meetings, and compete at nine model UN conferences

  • BU Pre-Law Review

The club was able to host events such as the pre-law review mixer last semester and their end-of-the-semester launch party. They were able to use the funding to purchase items that enhanced the experience for their guests.

  • Girls Who Code

GWC BU has been able to dedicate resources to forming a cohesive community dedicated to women in STEM. The funding has been used to enhance bonding and to host more hands-on, technical workshops like an Arduino workshop.

  • American Society of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology

Allowed them to do outreach and put on an event for BPS students to learn more about being a college student, life as a STEM student, and life sciences careers. It allowed them to encourage and dedicate the next generation of STEM students!

  • The Queer Activist Collective

With the help of CAS StuGov, they were able to provide 36 TGNCI CAS students with a free gender-affirming product of their choice that they could not otherwise access.
